CHOI Ina

Ina Choi received her PhD at the University of Bristol (UK) in 2013, with a dissertation on local governance reform in Indonesia. Her doctoral thesis looks at how the World Bank’s good governance agenda has been selectively embraced by local elites to suit their interests. Her research interests focus on how donor-driven agendas are re-contexualized at the local level in developing countries. Her research interests also involve: participatory governance, community development, and the impact of neoliberalism on Southeast Asia.
