East Asian Studies: The Journal of Institute for East Asian Studies, Sogang University is a leading journal of East and Southeast Asian studies. It is published twice a year (January and July) in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. The journal is indexed by the Korean Citation Index (National Research Foundation of Korea).

1. Research areas: Focusing on East Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asian Studies this journal accepts original academic papers on history, politics, economy, culture, international relations, and inter-regional comparative studies, covering East Asian or Southeast Asian countries.
2. Paper Submission: Papers are accepted throughout the year but those received more than two months before the publishing date will be considered for the next issue.
