소개


 김한라(Halla Kim, 金漢拏) (PhD)는 현재 서강대학교 철학과 정교수 및 학과장으로서 2016년 서강대에 부임 전에는 미국 네브라스카주립대 (오마하)에서 철학을 가르치고 조교수, 부교수, 정교수로 재직하였다. 한국철학회 부회장이며 한국칸트학회 회장이고 미국철학회 내에 북미주한국철학회를 창립하여 오늘날까지 이르고 있으며 현재 그 회장직을 맡고 있다.

 서양철학 특히 칸트와 독일관념론, 근대독일철학으로 지적인 여정을 시작하였으나 서양의 성찰을 한국의 깊은 전통과 사유에 접목하려는 시도를 하는 중이며 기회가 된다면 영어권독자들에게 한국철학을 전문적으로 소개하는 Journal of Korean Philosophy 를 창간/편집하고자 꿈을 꾸고 있다.
