Profile

Kwangyong Park is an economist specializing in Macroeconomics and currently serves as an assistant professor of International Finance at the Graduate School of International Studies at Sogang University. He earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Mathematics from Yonsei University and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington. Before joining GSIS in 2023, he worked as an economist at the Bank of Korea, which is the central bank of Korea. His research interests encompass Monetary Economics, Finance, International Macroeconomics, Fiscal Policy, Climate Change, and Macro-Labor. He has authored numerous academic papers published in peer-reviewed international journals, including the International Journal of Central Banking, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Economic Modelling, and the Journal of Asian Economics.
