2024-1학기 수강신청 OT 관련 질문에 대한 피드백 안내

안녕하세요. 국제학생교육센터입니다.

2월 15일(목) 14:00에 진행되었던 2024-1학기 신입생 수강신청 OT에서 나왔던 질문에 대한 내용을 정리하여 안내드립니다.

영어트랙 학생

1. [Introduction to Korean Culture] 과목의 강의시간은 매주 수요일과 금요일 15:00~16:15이며, 학생이 스스로 수강신청해야 합니다.

  ※ 본 과목은 수강신청 OT 때 자동으로 수강신청된다고 안내되었으나 학생이 스스로 수강신청해야 하는 것으로 변경되었으니 유의하시기 바랍니다.

2. 공통필수인 Global language I 영역에서 반드시 1과목을 선택해서 이수해야하며, [한국어의사소통 I]을 수강할 경우 자유선택 학점으로 인정됩니다. [한국어의사소통 I] 과목 수강과 관련해서는 로욜라국제대학 행정실로 문의바랍니다. (이메일: sgloyola@sogang.ac.kr)

3. 한국어트랙 과목인 [글로벌상호멘토링I (Global Mutual Mentoring I)] 3분반을 수강할 수 있습니다. 본 과목은 한국학생들과 멘토링하는 방식으로 진행되며, 반드시 영어트랙 학생 전용 분반인 3분반을 선택해야 합니다.

편입학 학생

1. 편입생은 학번이 시작하는 연도에 맞는 교육과정을 이수하면 됩니다. (첨부파일 참조)

2. TOPIK 4급 이상의 성적표를 제출하지 않아도 한국어과정을 이수할 의무가 없습니다.

전체 학생

1. 자동수강신청 과목에 대한 안내는 2월 21일(수) 오전까지 개별 이메일로 송부될 예정이며, 학번이 나온 후 자동으로 수강신청될 예정입니다. 혹시 이메일을 받지 못한 경우 로욜라국제대학으로 문의하여 주시기 바랍니다. (이메일: sgloyola@sogang.ac.kr)

2. TOPIK 성적이 2월 22일(수) 오후 3시에 나오는 학생들은 2월 20일(화)까지 국제학생교육센터로 연락주시기 바랍니다.

3. ‘새내기 맞이단’ 행사와 관련하여, 이 행사는 학교에서 공식으로 진행하는 행사가 아니고 단과대학별로 학생들이 주체적으로 신입생들을 환영하기 위해 진행하는 행사입니다. 행사 관련 문의가 필요할 경우 국제학생교육센터로 연락주시면 담당 학생 연락처를 안내드리겠습니다. (국제학생교육센터 이메일: globaled@sogang.ac.kr)

Feedback on questions related to OT for 2024-1 semester course registration

Hello, This is Education Center for International Students.

We would like to inform you of the answers to the questions raised during the 2024-1 Course Registration Orientation held on Thursday, February 15th.

For English Track Students

   1. [Introduction to Korean Culture] course hours are every Wednesday and Friday from 15:00 to 16:15, and students must register for the course by themselves.

※ Please note that although it was announced that this course would be automatically registered during the course registration OT, it has been changed to require students to register for the course on their own.

2. English track students must select one course from the Global Language I area.

If they take [Korean Communication I] course from Korean track curriculum, it will be recognized as general elective credits.

Regarding taking the [Korean Communication I] course, please contact the administration office of Loyola International College. (Email: sgloyola@sogang.ac.kr)

3. English track students can also take [Global Mutual Mentoring I], which is a Korean track core requisite course. This course is conducted through mentoring with Korean students (in English), and students must select “class division 3” which is a class exclusively for English track students.

For Transfer Students

1. Transfer students must complete the curriculum according to the year in which their student number begins. (please refer to the attached file.)

2. Transfer students are not required to complete Korean language courses even if they do not submit the certificate of TOPIK level 4 or higher.

For All Students

1. Notice on automatic course registration courses will be announced via email by February 21st(Wed) morning, and course registration will be made automatically after the student number is released. If you do not receive an email, please contact the administration office of Loyola International College.(Email: sgloyola@sogang.ac.kr)

2. For students whose TOPIK score will be released at 3PM on Wednesday, February 22nd, please notify Education Center for International Students by Tuesday, February 20th.

   3. Regarding “Welcoming New Students” activities, this is not the one officially held by the university, but is an activity held by students at each college to welcome new students. If you have any question regarding this activity, please contact Education Center for International Students and we will provide you with the contact information of the student in charge.
